AUTHOR’S NOTE: I’m very excited about re-telling the story of “The Bike Trip” that Brian and I did back in 1993. What prompted this was recently re-discovering the diary I kept from the trip and realizing that the 27th Year Anniversary of our departure would be soon upon us. I know! A big deal, right?

That being said, I’m a total novice at WordPress and at blogging in general. What I lack in skills, hopefully I will make up for in enthusiasm. This is a WORK IN PROGRESS. I hope you’ll bookmark our site and stick around for a few months. I am trying to post once a day for that day’s events 27 years ago. We began the journey, which I have taken to calling Odyssey 93, from Berkeley, California on July the 26th and arrived in Cancun, Mexico on October the 25th.
